Tavish, the reigning National U-18 and U-16 champion, will spearhead India’s three-member squad at the tournament. Ribhav Saroha and Hruthik Katakam are the other two members of the team.
India will compete against top sides including Australia, Brazil, Canada, Czechia, Egypt, Spain, France, Hungary, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Morocco, Serbia, USA and Venezuela.
Rana Banerjee, who is associated with KSLTA and guided the team to the Finals, will travel with the squad as coach.
The tournament will be held in an African nation for the first time. The clay court event will take place at the Smash Sporting Club in Cairo from November 2 to 8.
